Steeped in original character, the small kitchen didn’t function well for our client's lifestyle. We expanded the kitchen into the den to double the square footage and create more workspace and storage. The unused breakfast nook is now a coffee bar and additional serving area.

In the downstairs bath, we kept the clawfoot tub and original toilet but replaced other finishes. Upstairs, we replaced a tub with a walk-in shower in the primary bathroom and gave the secondary bathroom a fresh and fun update with colorful terrazzo floor tile and accents. We also took some dead space from the staircase and made room for a linen closet.
